The Guthrie Trapp Trio kicks off the Mockingbird Masters Series, a select offering showcasing top-tier artists considered masters and innovators of their instrument, composition and live performance.
Formed in 2018, The GTT features renowned guitarist and composer Guthrie Trapp’s virtuosic guitar work which continues to gain him national recognition as a touring and session musician for top artists from a broad sampling of genres. Guthrie’s forthcoming and yet-to-be titled recording project with legendary guitarist Tom Bukovac is set to be released later this year.
Coupled with Jordan Perlson’s (Jeff Coffin, Adrian Belew, Alison Brown) catalytic drumming woven together bassist Tim Marks (Taylor Swift, Lionel Richie, John Oates) delivery of a deep pocket and fat tone inspired by his Detroit roots and love of R&B, this trio has earned a devoted fan base that now embrace their East Nashville digs as a guitar mecca.
